Navigating the Home Page on Indaband

The Home Page on Indaband is your gateway to discovering new music, engaging with other musicians, and exploring a variety of collaborative sessions.

Events Section:

Follow the events in the Circles you’re part of and discover new recommended events in the More section. Circles are Indaband’s music communities, connecting artists, educators, and brands around shared interests like genres, instruments, and learning.

For You Section:

This tab recommends the best sessions tailored to your preferences, the users you follow and helping you discover new creators and enjoy fresh sessions you might like.

Missions Section:

Take on available missions to quickly learn how to navigate Indaband while having fun. Earn your first stickers and unlock achievements as you explore the app’s features. (read more below)

Top Section of the Screen

At the top, click your profile picture to go to your profile page, where you can manage all your personal information and settings. On your profile page, click the settings icon (in the top-right corner) to access all your settings and platform support options, including help articles and tutorials.

Access your stickers, achievements and milestones by clicking the trophy icon. See all updates related to your sessions, including new interactions, updates from the people you follow, and other relevant activity with the notifications (bell) icon. Use the chat icon to find all your chats, including private messages and lounge and events chats you're part of.

The Bottom Menu

The bottom menu helps you quickly navigate the main sections of Indaband:

1. Home (Feed): Takes you to the home page, where you can explore the various feeds like Following, For You, and more, as explained previously.
2. Discover (search icon): Discover users, Circles, events, playlists, and sessions to explore new collaborations and music. (read more below)
3. Create Button (Plus Icon): Use this to start a new session, whether by importing pre-recorded tracks or recording from scratch directly within the app. You can also start new events or circles.
4. Studio (mixer icon): Here, you'll find all your ongoing sessions (those you're still recording or mixing), as well as sessions you've already published or chosen to keep hidden.
5. Playlists (folder icon): All your saved and organized sessions are available here and can be played as a playlist.

More on the Discover Menu

The Discover Menu on Indaband is designed to help users find users, new collaborations, explore events, and engage with the community. It allows users to:

• Discover New Users and Sessions: Search for users and sessions tailored to your musical interests.
• Find Circles and Events: Join musical communities focused on genres, instruments, or learning experiences, and participate in real-time events​.
• Explore Playlists: Check out curated playlists such as "Trending Stages" for popular users, "Practice Playlists" for play-along sessions, and "Editor's Pick" for the best creations from the community.

Understanding these features will help you navigate Indaband, discover new music, and engage with the community. Enjoy exploring and connecting with fellow musicians!
