Getting Started
To become a Creator on Indaband, follow these steps:
- Explore the Feed:
- Begin by exploring the main Sessions feed to find sessions that match your musical interests. The best way to do that is by watching your Quick Peek - brand new and engaging sessions shared by the community. Also check out the Discover Menu, where you will find various playlists and curated content.
- Follow Users:
- Follow musicians and creators whose work you admire by clicking on their profile and hitting the "Follow" button. This will help you stay updated on their activities and new releases.
Creating Your Own Sessions
- Create a Session:
- Click the plus icon at the bottom center of the screen to start a new session. You can choose to record a new track or upload a pre-recorded one.
- Recording Booth:
- Record Your Track: Use the recording booth to capture your musical performance. Ensure you have good audio quality and synchronization.
- Adjust Settings: Customize your recording settings, such as latency synchronization and input levels, to achieve the best sound quality.
- Mixing:
- Adjust Volume and Pan: Use the mixer to balance the volume levels and panning of each track for a cohesive sound.
- Editing:
- Cut and Loop: Edit your tracks by cutting unwanted sections and creating loops to repeat specific parts of the song.
- Finalize Your Mix: Make final adjustments to ensure all elements fit together seamlessly.
- Publishing:
- Give your session a title, description, relevant tags, and genres, then hit the generate button to create your first video version, check it and then share it with the Indaband community.
Creator Streaks
The Creator Streak on Indaband is represented by a star icon and is earned when you publish or participate in at least one new session each week. Every time you meet this goal, a streak is added, and the star badge appears on your profile. As your streak grows, the badge reflects your consistency and creativity, showing how actively you're contributing to the community.
